Lumaboater, 70

In my lifetime I've had several passions. For many years it was horses and they will always be in my heart. But more and more I remember my favorite times from when I was young and living on the water. We had a house on the bay and almost all of our free time was spent enjoying boating. We had both powerboats and sailboats. I think that was one of the happiest times of my life. Now as I assess what I want from the future I know time on the water, if not living close to or on the waterfront, is something I want. I've been studying up and trying to learn boat handling on my small cruiser. I also have basic sailing certification. So as I think about what I'm looking forward to, it's to spend my time with someone who knows and loves boats. Oh sure, I have a list of other qualities I'm looking for, but I think a common interest in boats is as good a place to start as any. So if you love boats, I'd like to hear from you.
