Cruise the world doing sports I'm looking for a compatible female partner to sail the Western Hemisphere from New Zealand to Europe. I'm retired and live in Hawaii but am buying a 40'catamaran to travel to places I haven't been and revisit others. I'm pretty much open to warm places between New Zealand and Europe including the Med. I'm focusing on Polynesia and the Caribbean for sheer beauty and experiencing their cultures. Elsewhere I'm an accomplished on and off-road triathlete and cross country mountain biker. There are loads of athletic events all over the world that are attractive, including cycling tours and other non-race formats. So, I'm looking for a woman who not only wants to cruise, but is fit and motivated to do outdoor events around the world. Your sports don't have to be the same as mine. Maybe you're into mountain climbing or paddling or running or surfing or kite boarding. I'll support pretty much anything outdoors. Athletic events are such a great way to meet friends and get some understanding of other cultures.

Most people who meet me think I'm in my 50's. In large races I usually finish in the middle of other men in their late 40's. So, if my age is a concern then check me out personally. I'm a multiple age group world champion, haven't seen a doctor for sickness in over 20 years, and have only one filling . I'm looking for a boat that has room for a treadmill to stay in shape. On the personal side I'm allergic to tobacco and can't stand to be around smoke. I drink very little, would rather be on the water than in a bar, eat a low-carb healthy diet, and don't watch TV. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and can get along in some other languages. I'm good at fixing things from bicycles to cars, airplanes, computers, and boats. I like to read and live with aloha. I expect to fly back home once in a while, but could keep cruising for years.
